Our big girl turned 4 and she is growing up to be quite the little lady!! We are so proud of her! She is a beautiful, smart, funny, thoughtful, and loving girl.
We joined some friends for lunch at Lauren's favorite: Elderberry's! She even got her smoothie with a candle in it instead of a straw and we sang Happy Birthday to her!! It was very cute to watch her be surprised and excited!
For her birthday cake, Lauren requested that I include birds, butterflies, frogs and owls!! Wow! So in order to meet her requirements, I came up with this creation!!
When Daddy got home from work, Lauren got to open her birthday presents. She has been wanting her own camera, since she loves to take pictures and likes to try to use ours....so that was her gift from us this year. She was VERY excited to try it out. I don't think Daddy could get the batteries in fast enough. :-)
We ended the day with bath time, dinner then cake! Here she is blowing out her candles. Happy Birthday, sweet girl!! We love you!

So grateful to celebrate Lauren's bday. Hey, that is the most amazing cake I think I've ever seen! I loved all parts of it- esp. the owl, the froggy, and the rainbow!!
