Layman Farms 2011

We went back to Layman Farms this year, and once again, we were not disappointed! We actually were able to do the corn maze and ride over to the pumpkin patch, neither of which we did last year, mostly because Josh was so young and it was very windy. This time, we went with our good friends, the Whiteds and their kids, Chase and Sophie, who are close in age to Lauren and Josh. In fact, Sophie and Josh have birthdays that are only two weeks apart!

We are so thankful for the close network of friends that we have developed since moving to Roanoke. Without our immediate family in town, our good friends have become our extended family and we appreciate the time that we get to spend together, encouraging each other as we seek God and His grace in raising our children. And some days, we REALLY need some encouragement!! Can I get an AMEN!?!
