Happy Birthday, Joshua!!!

We had a wonderful day celebrating Josh's birthday! Jason and I went into his room after he and Lauren were awake this morning and we sang happy birthday to him, which he met with lots of big smiles and laughs. He's usually very happy when he wakes up and today was no exception.

He (and Lauren) enjoyed opening his presents after breakfast. The little cars from Uncle Jeff were a total hit! He is really getting into moving anything with wheels around on the hardwood floors, so between that and the little people airplane that we got for him, he was having a blast.







We spent the late morning at Church for worship and then came back to the house for lunch and naps. Once the kids were both up from naps, we sang to Josh (again) and got to have some birthday cake!! Once Josh got a little taste of that, he dug right in and proceeded to stuff himself full!

These pictures don't really do justice to the amount of cake that he actually put away...he and Lauren together ate an entire wing of the airplane cake and Josh pretty much made quick work of it.

We continued the celebration by using a gift card for a dinner out (yay for not having to cook!) at Outback. Then when we got home we were able to talk to Nana and GG on skype so that they could wish Josh a Happy Birthday too.

It was a fun, relaxing, joyful day. We are so thankful to have such a precious, sweet, funny boy and we love him so much. We can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for our little guy. He sure is a special boy!!
